Sometime each winter, usually right around New Years, I get ambitious about cleaning out and getting organized. In this years’ round of organizing, I ended up with an extra clear shoe-organizer thing-y.
I decided to put it back to use, to hold my small scraps. They’d been in plastic bins, roughly color-sorted, but having them laid out like a rainbow there, is definitely encouraging me to use them more.
Oooh, I LOVE this idea!
What a great idea! Makes it much easier to sort and grab the right scraps. Very pretty too :)
Great idea! I use mine to hold cones of thread. I think it’s my favorite thing in my studio because it’s so colorful.
I keep mine in plastic baggies under my sewing table, but I’ve been thinking about doing this too…it does really encourage you to use them up or get rid of them!
Great idea to get them out where you can see them! Looks so pretty too :)
Wow what a great idea – I really need to think about how to store my scraps better and this could be a solution thanks!
It is a great idea and it works too, I have one behind my door too, for about 3 years and I love it!
